HI! I’m Carly
In middle school, my mom (also a photographer; also my role model) gave me one of her cameras and taught me how to shoot and edit just for fun. I ended up loving it, started assisting her on shoots, and eventually joined her for weddings. I had always enjoyed shooting a little of everything, and weddings involve so much variety - fashion, documentary, portraiture, fine art, etc. Plus they’re happy! So they were easy to me to fall in love with.
Today, my approach to each wedding day is still inspired by the gentle and loving example that my mom has always set for me. Her genuine love for people and strong value for family has allowed me to see how each wedding is a beautiful representation of generations of love stories culminating together in the celebration of a new one.
I am so grateful for each opportunity to thoughtfully highlight the unique beauty, connection, and story of couples and their loved ones, and I strive to be a calming and joyful presence that allows you to truly live in the moment as you enjoy your time with your people!
When I’m not shooting, editing, or writing emails with too many exclamation points, I love spending time with my favorite people, and going anywhere with good coffee or that’s on the water. I most importantly love Jesus, and am so thankful for how He has worked in my life! I am also a (self-proclaimed) fantastic amateur rapper and Spotify playlist maker. :)
